Mission

The Cruces University Hospital is a general hospital that belongs to "Osakidetza", the mission of which is to offer specialized public health care to the citizens of the Uribe and Enkarterri-Ezkerraldea regions, as well as to the rest of the Basque Country and other self-governing communities, in the services referred to and universally where it comes to emergency care. Likewise, we contribute to pre-graduate teaching, specialized training and research.

To do so, we direct our activity at aiming for the best level of health of the population attended to and at the satisfaction of our users, persons and other groups of interest by applying a management system that aims at continuous improvement and at the development of our community through socially responsible actions.

Vision

The Cruces University Hospital hopes to be the hospital of reference in the Basque Country, with areas of excellence in the health care, teaching and research fields at a national and international level.

It has a commitment with the Community's problems, so it develops the organization's staff's abilities and responds to the patients and users' needs and expectations.
